Sugar : Bitter Truth by Robert Lustig

If you have 1.5hrs then I urge you to watch this video. Dr Lustig makes a compelling argument on why/how sugar is the devil - most especially High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS). In my opinion sugar is sugar and really should be eaten in moderation - that said anything 'modified' should be avoided. HFCS is found in a ton of food beverages and products and even baby formula - - err wondering why you can't stop eating or drinking a certain product? - check out the label... probably has HFCS - it's so cheap that companies opt for it to cut costs . Dr Lustig describes the digestion process - essentially fructose can only be processed by the liver and the liver can only process a small amount; the excess is converted to FAT - so yup sugar is key in gaining weight not necessarily FAT - so be safe I'll be sure to read all those 'LOW FAT' stuff (eg  yogurts) - low fats usually equates to high sugar and sugar turns to FAT.
